This tutorial guides you through enabling the necessary permissions for Horizon Mobile on Android Devices. It covers how to grant access to features like the camera and your photos, ensuring the app runs smoothly and you get the most out of its functionality.
(Enabling Horizon Mobile Permissions on Android)
1. Once you install Horizon Mobile on your device, open the Horizon Mobile App.
2. From your Home screen, select an inspection.
3. Select any system in the report. But for this tutorial, I will select "Desc" beside Roofing.
4. Select any subcategory within Roofing/Description, but for this tutorial, I will select "General".
5. Select the Camera icon beside the item or defect. For this tutorial, I will select the Camera icon beside "Blank Item"
6. Once you take your photo, you will be prompted with a message that says "Allow Horizon Mobile 3 to take pictures and record video?". Select "While Using The App".
7. You will also be prompted that says "Allow Horizon Mobile 3 to Access Photos and Videos on this Device?".
8. Choose "Allow All"
Alternatively, you can enable these settings by accessing the App Info of Horizon once you have initially enabled these settings.
1. From the Home Screen where your app is, hold and press your finger on the Horizon Mobile icon until you see the letter "i" beside the app.
2. Select "Permissions"
Then you will see there are permissions for "Camera" and "Photos and Video"
When you select each permission, select "Always Allow All"
Thats how you enable the permissions of your Horizon Mobile app within the app and within your App Info Settings!
