In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to use the Horizon Mobile Photo Editor to add text to your inspection photos. Highlight important details, draw attention to specific areas, and make your reports even clearer for your clients and agents with text directly on the image.
1. Open the Horizon Mobile app
2. Select the Inspection Address you will be working on.
3. Select "Description", "Recommendation" or "Limitation" beside the system you wish to work on.
Ex. Exterior/Description
4. Select a category. Ex. "Gutter & Downspout Material"
5. Select the "Camera" 
icon to take a photo or the "Image" 
icon to select a photo from your gallery.
6. If the photo edit prompt is turned "On", you will be asked "Do you want to edit your photo?"
7. Select "Yes"
NOTE: If the photo edit prompt is set to "Off" in your Home Settings, you will NOT receive the prompt and will need to select the "Photo Edit" icon in the Notes section
8. Select "Text" at the bottom left of the photo editor to add text to the photo
NOTE: By Default, the "Text" option will be selected when you enter the photo editor. Should you select another element in the photo editor, you will just need to select "Text" to reenable it.
9. Tap your finger on the part image to open the text box.
10. Once you are satisfied with your text, select the "yellow checkmark" located at the bottom right of the text box.
11. Hold your finger on the text, then slide it in the direction of the part you would like the text to be placed.
12. Remove your finger from the screen to set the size and position of the text box.
NOTE: If you'd like to make adjustments to the text, please place your finger on one of the blue dots of the text box and update the location, and size.
13. Once you are satisfied with all text updates made to the image, select the "Yellow Check Mark" at the top right of the editor to save your photo edits.
14. Select "Save"
You have now added text to your image. Great Job!
