This tutorial introduces an updated feature in Horizon Mobile that lets you add up to 10 photos at a time from your device’s gallery to an item or defect. It walks you through the simple steps to select and attach multiple images, making it faster and easier to document your inspections with detailed visuals.
1. Open the Horizon Mobile Application.
2. From your Home screen, select an inspection.
3. Select any system in the report. But for this tutorial, I will select "Desc" beside Roofing.
4. Select any subcategory within Roofing/Description, but for this tutorial, I will select "General".
5. Select the Photo Gallery Icon.
NOTE: If this is your first time accessing the photo gallery, you may receive this message:
"Horizon Mobile 3 Would Like to Access Your Photo Library". Select "Allow Full Access"
10. After you "Allow full access", you will be able to access your photo gallery/camera roll to select photos directly from your photo gallery or camera roll, depending on your device. If you have already enabled FULL ACCESS, then you will go straight to your photo gallery/camera roll.
11. Select up to 10 Photos.
12. Select "Add" on iOS or select "Done" after you selected your photos on Android
13. If you have the Photo Edit Prompt turned on, you will be asked if you would like to edit the photo(s): "Yes or No." If you choose"Yes", you will be directed to the photo editor. If you choose "No," you will be directed to the notes.
If you DO NOT have "Photo Edit Prompt" turned on, you will just be directed to the notes.
Once you have completed adding your photos, you can select "Save" at the bottom.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
❓ When I select the photo gallery icon beside an Item or Defect, I cannot see all my photos?→ If you only see certain photos to choose from in your Gallery, you are allowed only limited access to your photos. To enable full access, follow the instructions to Enable Permissions on Horizon Mobile
