How do I create a new standard Limitations item?

Learn how-to create a new standard Limitation item.

  1. Open an inspection’s report writing screen

  2. Click Customize at the top right of the screen

  3. Click the relevant system and Limitations tab (e.g. Exterior Limitations)

  4. Click Create within the appropriate category

  5. Enter a name in the ‘Item name:’ field - there's an initial character limit of 100, but it can be increased to 8,000 after saving and editing

  6. Click Save at the bottom of the pop-up window

    Back at the Customize screen, the newly created item will be presentlim-created-1
